TOUCH INTO THE ALIVENESS OF BEING ONE WITH NATURE

We honor this ancestral land of the Huichol peoples.  We have welcomed the Huichol and indigenous neighbors in activities and ceremony, and had outreach of spirit practice and education with the surrounding area.

Our logo is the Litibù bird ( Great kiskadee).  The Huichol ancestors of the area honored this little bird as the “Song of Birds”.  Stories by elders in the village tell of the Huichol women coming down to the arroyo to wash their clothes, tell stories and sing together.

Here, the beach of dreams meets birdsong.  You can feel the healing energy with the first deep breaths in and around the Paz Jardin, a place to refresh, empty oneself and be ready for life.

The Litibù Ecovillage holds the promise of being a presence instilling eco-consciousness as it intersects locally and regionally.
